Carlow and Mayo and DDSL and Longford will do battle for a place in the final of the SFAI New Balance Kennedy Cup 2019 on Friday, after all four sides navigated their way through the quarter-finals on Thursday.
Carlow keep making history for themselves, and they beat a very strong Waterford side, while Mayo overcame last year’s runners-up Kildare.
The DDSL overcame local rivals NDSL, while for high-flying Longford, the journey at the top table of the SFAI New Balance Kennedy Cup continues after they beat Galway.
In the Bowl semi-final, Cork will face Sligo/Leitrim and Midlands and Limerick District will meet, while in the Shield, semi-finals there will be a local derby between Inishowen and Donegal, and Kilkenny and Dundalk make up the quartet.
The Trophy semi-final will be made up of Limerick County v Limerick Desmond, another great derby, and RDYSL and WWEC will meet on the other side of the draw.
The beaten quarter-finalists in the Kennedy Cup will also continue their journey in the SFAI New Balance Kennedy Plate, while the other leagues will play to see what position they finish the competition in.
